WFN Strategies designs, engineers and implements commercial submarine optical cable systems. These cable systems have utilized repeatered and unrepeatered technologies, and have been transoceanic, regional, or festoon in scope.
Our staff has decades of experience in all aspects of worldwide telecoms projects, including major trans-oceanic optical fiber projects in the Atlantic, Indian and Pacific Oceans, dating back to the first trans-Atlantic fiber system, TAT 8, the first private trans-Atlantic system, PTAT-1 and the first Japan-USA fiber System, NPC.
WFN Strategies has been involved with all aspects of implementing telecommunications systems - from feasibility studies through capital budgeting to engineering, purchasing, and installation to commissioning & testing.
