WFN Strategies recently announced that
it has received US Government Contractor Certification from
the National Association of Government Contractors.
The National
Association of Government Contractors is an organization of
businesses engaged in procurement opportunities with governments,
universities and private corporations, and the Government Contractor
certification ensures that participating companies are cognizant and
capable of requisite US Government acquisition practices.
“This is another
positive step forward for our company in its pursuit of new markets
for our services,” said Peg Nielsen, Director of WFN Strategies
Government Services Division. “The NAGC Government Contractor
certification emphasizes our commitment to the government market.”
WFN
Strategies possesses considerable experience in DoD, MOD and NATO
programs, and established its
Government Services Division in 2004, which is based in the
Washington, DC area within close proximity of US government
customers. Headed
by Peg Nielsen, who serves as Director, WFN Strategies Government
Services Division provides governmental and defense customers with
business and engineering solutions for remote and unique telecom
requirements, as well as acquisition support and engineering
services for shipboard components and systems.
WFN Strategies
associates have supported the defense industry since the early
1980s, and have been involved in a number of DoD, MOD and NATO
related submarine cable systems, both coaxial and optical.
As a
part of the Great Eastern Group team, WFN Strategies is contracted
by Naval Sea Systems Command under the SeaPort Enhanced procurement
system for support services of naval ship and shipboard weapon
systems acquisition and life-cycle support including R&D support,
prototyping, acquisition logistics, modeling, T&E trials, and
engineering. It is also listed by the
US General Services Administration for engineering support, and is
both listed in good standing by Dunn & Bradstreet and Defense
