Mr. Nielsen joined WFN Strategies in 2008 as Business Manager and is responsible for project accounting, and Environmental, Health and Safety support. He is responsible for establishing policies for employees to follow, and acting as a liaison with any outside agencies as well as any WFN personnel in the field. He has managed invoicing and accounting maintenance, daily office operations, as well as tracking project accounting and implementing new accounting strategies. He is well versed in hardware and software, and has an intimate knowledge of Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Project, as well as QuickBooks accounting and various other systems; he is extremely comfortable with technology. He has been in charge of implementing public relations initiatives as well as advertising, while also managing web site operations. As a Divemaster, he was responsible for assisting scuba training courses and maintaining the safety of all involved, carrying accident insurance coverage, and promoting PADI based courses and programs. He has supported telecom projects in Antarctica, Australia, Colorado, Gulf of Mexico and West Africa.
