With a view to enhancing its commitment to the defense and homeland security communities, WFN Strategies (www.wfnstrategies.com) recently established its Government Services Division, which will be based in the Washington, DC area within close proximity of existing and future US government customers.

Headed by Peg Nielsen, who will serve as Director, WFN Strategies Government Services Division provides governmental and defense customers with business and engineering solutions for remote and unique telecom requirements, as well as acquisition support and engineering services for shipboard components and systems.

WFN Strategies already assists both the US Government is its acquisition of hard-to-find spares from miscellaneous OEMs in North America and Europe, as well as clients in their sales of spares and repaired equipment to the defense community.  As a part of the Great Eastern Group team, the company is contracted by Naval Sea Systems Command under the SeaPort Enhanced procurement system for support services of naval ship and shipboard weapon systems acquisition and life-cycle support including R&D support, prototyping, acquisition logistics, modeling, T&E trials, and engineering.
