WFN Strategies Awarded Multi Year US Navy Support Contract

WFN Strategies, as a part of the Great Eastern Group team, was recently awarded an indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract for support services for all phases of naval ship and shipboard weapon systems acquisition and life-cycle support including research & development support, prototyping, acquisition logistics, modeling, test & evaluation trials, and engineering support for Naval Sea Systems Command Headquarters, field activities, and affiliated program executive offices.
This contract is under the SeaPort Enhanced (SeaPort-e) electronic procurement system, which is comprised of seven regional zones in which task orders will be competed based upon the principal place of performance. Under this multiple award, each contractor will be provided a fair opportunity to compete for individual task orders solicited within their zone or zones of performance, estimated to be a maximum of $1.3B of service per year. The award has a five-year base period with two additional, five-year award terms.
This contract was competitively procured via the Navy Electronic Commerce Online. Contract funds will be obligated at the time of task order award and as such, multiple funding types (with varying expiration dates) may be used, consistent with the purpose for which the funds were appropriated. The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren Division, Dahlgren, Virginia, is the contracting activity.
